Hi, my name is Devin Snider, and I’m the founder of Black Creek Construction. Black Creek is a family-owned, sustainable building company whose legacy began in Canada, where I specialised in West Coast building techniques before moving to London to complete a Master’s in Sustainable Architecture at UEL. Along with my dedicated team of experts, we will work personally with you to extend, renovate or modernise your home to meet your needs. Bringing energy, expertise and experience to your individual project, we can offer you unparalleled service from planning to completion. We are fortunate enough to consider our past clients as friends, and as a purely referral-based company, we understand that we are only as good as our last job. We’d be happy to introduce you to our long list of clients and show you around some of our past projects. Meet The Team

Lee Biggs

Project Manager

Lee has over 3 decades of building experience. From design, structure elements,
through to finishing details and planning, his practical and common-sense approach
to all elements of the project is as refreshing as it is productive. Lee will be your
main point of contact during the project for all on-site matters. You’ll hear him before
you see him, but he’s always there.

Devin Snider

Director

Devin emigrated from Canada in 2010 to complete a Master’s in Sustainable Architecture. He takes his love for design and sustainability and weaves that into every project. Lee and Devin work closely to ensure the programme, budget and build quality remain top priorities. As a referral-based company, we know we are only as good as our last project, and we’re incredibly proud of our long list of clients who are now friends.

Barry McCardle

Site Safety Supervisor and Skilled Labour

Barry has been working in the industry for decades. His attentiveness to site cleanliness and safety ensures our team can work efficiently and free from hazards. His scouse accent is a welcome addition to the team, and you know when Barry’s on site, your property is being well looked after. All of this contributes to our outstanding Health and Safety record.

Josh Hill

Site Foreman

Josh joined us over a year ago and has quickly shown us to be a hardworking and exemplary site leader. He’s the first on site in the morning and is setting things out for the day ahead. His experience in the industry spans over 2 decades, and when he isn’t reading plans or working directly with Lee planning, he doesn’t mind jumping in the trenches and shifting dirt with the rest of the team.

Xing

Master Tradesmen

Xing has been working in the construction industry in the UK since arriving here over 30 years ago. His finishing skills and work ethic make him a valued team member and whether he’s plastering, tiling, building joinery or decorating, the result will be outstanding. His attitude is one of finding solutions, not problems.

Han

Master Tradesmen

Han has also been working in the UK construction industry for decades and brings a wealth of knowledge in all aspects of building and finishing. He’ll be on-site for the duration of every project. From trench and foundation formation, blockwork, framing and structural elements all the way through to joinery and decoration. His tiling skills are next level, and bespoke bathrooms are a favourite of his. The more challenging the design, the better.

Kai

Skilled Labour and Heavy Machinery Operator

Kai has also been with us from the very start, and his youthful appearance and positive demeanour make him a valued team member. He is always looking to improve his skills and grasp of the English language. He is an expert plasterer and decorator, which is rare in a heavy machine operator. Whether its sitting on a large digger or with a paint brush in his hand, his attention to detail and positive attitude are welcomed on every project.

Skilled Labour

Ping joined our team a little over 2 years ago, and his smiling face and willingness to help with any task means we love having him on site. Whether it’s shifting tonnes of soil with a wheelbarrow or applying the finishing touches to some bespoke joinery, he carries out all his duties with positivity and professionalism.
